AmruthaVarshini Hariharan is pursuing her Bachelors in Chemistry at Stella Maris college , chennai and is learning Bharathanatyam under the able guidance of Guru Kum. Kavitha Ramu. Amrutha is a scholarship awardee of VDS Arts Academy and had an opportunity to give a performance under the auspices of VDS Arts Academy and MOP Vaishnav College.

She considers her performance along with her Guru in Perur Natyanjali, Kovai ; Sriperumbuthur Ramanujar temple; Kapaleeshwarar temple, mylapore; Shri Ramana festival and ANJALI productions of Lasya Kavie as great blessing. She has performed in Sivrathri Natyanjalis at Papanasam, Panthanallur, Vazhuvoor.
With twelve years of training, Amrutha has won laurels in classical dance, classical music, Gita chanting, Chess championships, Elocution, adzaps…conducted by various organizations like TTD Devasthanam, Chinmaya Mission, West Chennai Sahodaya Cluster Schools, clubs and other cultural associations Chennai. She also has many stage performances to her credit including temples and annual functions of cultural societies and clubs.
Amrutha learnt classical music at Madhuralahari of Smt Rama Narayanan for ten years and later under the guidance of Mrs Girija Ramaswamy. Amrutha is a Rajya Puraskar awardee and Rashtrapathi awardee in Bharat Scouts and Guides. Apart from art, she is also an outstanding student in academics as a ten pointer in CBSE tenth standard and 95% scorer in CBSE 12th and a scholarship holder for the consecutive three years in FIITJEE Talent Research Exam.
She also got the opportunity to be a student reporter for Times of India Student Edition and has penned her article in TOI student edition. Amrutha is the First class distinction graded student of Fourth Grade certificate exam in Classical Dance and Fist class graded student in Fourth grade certificate Classical Music – Vocal conducted.
